The Home of Architects (HoA) Standing Committee under the Architects Alliance (TAA) proudly launched our flagship Mentorship Programme — a bold step toward bridging the gap between the classroom and the construction site.
In partnership with JKUAT, we’ve crafted a dynamic, site-based training curriculum tailored to equip student and graduate architects with real-world experience, professional growth, and meaningful mentorship.
Over the next 8 weeks, our first cohort of 20 mentees from JKUAT and Kenyatta University will be stationed on active construction sites across the country, learning directly from seasoned professionals and gaining valuable industry exposure.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible partners: @crownpaintsplc Crown Paints Kenya, @homebridgeke HomeBridge Ltd, Hanamoto Enterprises Ltd, @symbion_consulting_group Symbion Consulting Group and @housing_innovations_africa Housing Innovations Africa Ltd for opening up their sites and generously supporting the interns with resources that will make this programme a success.
The programme will conclude with a vibrant graduation ceremony hosted by Crown Paints — a moment to celebrate the milestones and future of our mentees.
This is only the beginning. The future of architecture is in good hands.
